American Heritage FLL Teams

FIRST Lego League (FLL) is open to 4-8 graders through the FIRST program, but American Heritage limits this level of robotics to 4-5 graders.  This program provides an introduction to engineering, presenting the teams with a real-world problem and providing them with the tools to construct their robot to meet this problem.

Luke is now a member of FRC, he is the first to come all the way through the FIRST program, from Jr. FLL through to high school.  He demonstrates what American Heritage is trying to do by engaging young students in science and engineering to build the foundation for future study past high school.

This year we had six teams for the challenge named Trash Trek, which presented them with the issues from collection to reuse of waste.
